5.5.1
We've fixed an issue where push notifications could silently stop working until you reinstalled the app. Glass now reconnects your device automatically, and in Notifications settings you can "Reconnect This Device" if needed. Sign-in got a more secure foundation behind the scenes and Help center now opens neatly within the app.
5.5.0
We’ve fixed the photo pull-down gesture so closing a photo returns you to Explore or Notifications without a blank screen or missing navigation. Turning off Show Series Preview in Appearance now keeps the stacked-photos fully hidden as you scroll. Highlight detail pages got a bit of polish. Oh, and swiping through alternate app icons is smoother as well.
5.4.2
In Glass 5.4.2, we've polished several parts of the app for a smoother, more consistent experience. Photo uploading is faster and preserves more metadata. The comment box now expands as you type, while our Series interface and many Settings screens have been refreshed to be clearer and easier to use. We've also resolved a handful of navigation and layout issues throughout the app.
5.4.0
This update expands the comment box to accommodate larger community interactions. In addition, we’ve resolved several issues with Series, including publishing controls, profile navigation, and hidden previews. Account-related messaging is clearer across the app, and we’ve added the ability to cancel a scheduled account deletion. Finally, we’ve replaced Feedback with our new Updates page, and fixed a handful of photo upload inconsistencies for a smoother photo-sharing experience.
5.3.1
Glass 5.3.1 introduces a new “Replace Photo” feature, two new icons for all members, and a trio of custom icons for patrons.
5.3.0
In Glass 5.3 we’ve retired legacy API endpoints so the app now runs entirely on our latest, most reliable infrastructure.
This update also resolves UI issues introduced with Apple’s iOS 26.4 release, and corrects widget links so that corresponding images now open within the app.
5.2.1
In Glass 5.2.1 issues with tab bar reactivity, as well as backend stressors with series uploads, are now resolved.
A new installment of custom icons from designer Tim Van Damme, alongside attribution to designer Jasper Hauser, have been added to appearance options.
5.2.0
Glass 5.2 introduces our refreshed brand icon, including multiple geographic variations for Patrons to choose from. Plus, comment editing is now available.
